Marielba Rivera

As an estate planning attorney, I am able to serve families and elder adults to help them better their lives, their family relationships, and their futures. With my experience and resources, I can help them navigate difficult situations with ease and clarity.

During my 14-year legal career, I have had the opportunity to serve in both the private and public sectors, and advise the highest-ranking officials of my beloved island, Puerto Rico. Today I lead an estate planning practice in Maryland and Puerto Rico because I recognize how this service impacts the quality of life of my clients and their families. My true passion is helping others during difficult times, but mostly, I believe in empowering people with the right information so they can make the best decisions for themselves.

I was raised in a family of 8 siblings by a father who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease when I was only 4 years old and a mother who was a natural, loving caregiver. Certainly, it was special and forged the person I am, my interests, and my purpose. Most importantly, I am the proud mother of Enrique and Miguel with whom I love enjoying all the treasures life offers.
