Michael Kelley

Hi. I’m Mike Kelley. I became a Personal Family Lawyer to educate and empower my clients to avoid the family conflict and brokenness that comes from ineffective estate planning that ends up in court. I felt a calling to help clients make the right decisions in advance to prevent those outcomes.
I’m here to guide clients, especially families with minor children, through the often-confusing maze of financial and legal decisions to create plans that ensure the well-being of their families. Whether you are married or single, with a traditional family or blended one, just starting out or looking back on a life well-lived, I will help you to craft a plan that achieves your goals for your loved ones today and for years to come.

I graduated in the top of my law school class from Faulkner University in 2008, then joined the prestigious law firm Haskell, Slaughter, Young & Rediker as a civil litigator. In 2013, I started my own firm, focusing on estate planning, probate estate administration, and personal injury cases. I have experience both advising personal representatives of estates and have administered trusts and estates myself in Alabama and Montana.

I love educating my community on what will happen when someone passes away at the several different levels of estate planning. I find that most clients have just never given it much thought and really have an eye-opening experience when we meet.

Most importantly I am a husband to Traci and proud father of Mikey and Luke.
