Why Estate Planning Found Me My legal career began with a degree from the University of Georgia, followed by earning my Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law. I've been a licensed attorney since 1998 in Georgia, and I expanded my practice to New York in 2024. For years, I practiced in patent and intellectual property law — work I enjoyed but didn't feel personally connected to. That changed in 2021 when I discovered estate planning — and realized I had found my calling. This work allows me to guide families, protect legacies, and build meaningful relationships with my clients. More About Me I'm proud to be the spouse of a retired Air Force veteran, and I was fortunate to spend many years traveling throughout Europe during our military life. This experience shaped who I am — and today, I'm working toward VA certification to better serve military families with their unique estate planning needs.
