About Jay Barrett

His friends call him Jay and you can too. He works to assist young professionals and small business owners achieve peace of mind. Life is busy and many times important tasks slide down the list and do not get accomplished. He has been counseling clients since 2010 on how to plan for their families, their legacy, and their businesses. Jay has learned the art of relational law and being a personal family lawyer, he does things differently. Your relationship with you lawyer should not be transactional. It should be supportive, and Jay is uniquely situated to support his clients. He is a member of the Florida and District of Columbia Bars and a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. He can work with clients no matter where they call home in Florida or DC. He is a veteran of the US Navy, a father of two, avid sailor, cyclist, and woodworker. He has been building relationships with his clients since 2010 and is eager to build a relationship with you.
