About Gerald Kane
Hi. Iâm Gerry Kane and I have devoted over 27 years as an Attorney to helping families achieve their goals of growing, protecting, and preserving their wealth. I became a Personal Family Lawyer because I’m passionate about helping families and businesses create stress-free and happy futures while living richer lives today.
In my practice, I focus on Family and Wealth Preservation, and Value-Based Planning. I’m also experienced with wealth planning strategies for individuals with disabilities and qualifying for government benefits such as Medicaid and Veteranâs benefits.
Whether you are married or single, a traditional family or a blended one, starting out or looking back on a life well-lived, I will help you to craft a plan that achieves your goals for your loved ones today and for years to come.
I graduated from University of Laverne in 1994 and received the highest grade in my Wills and Trusts class. I have become a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law and an Accredited Attorney with the Veterans Administration. Also, for the past three years (2020, 2021, 2022, and now 2023) I have achieved the status of a California Superlawyer; in the top 5% of Attorneys.
I deeply enjoy educating my community and I have recently appeared on the show âMeet the Petesâ as a financial expert. I have served on hospital boards and the board of the Southern California National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. I frequently give presentations to Bar Associations, the Alzheimerâs Association, and The Parkinsonâs Association on a variety of family wealth planning topics.
I am happily married and proud father of Hailey and Taylor and 8 kitties.
