About Doug Coe
Hello, my name is Doug Coe, and I am a third-generation Wichitan with a deep passion for helping clients achieve peace of mind by ensuring that all of their estate planning needs are in perfect order. At Legacy Legal, LLC, my focus is on estate planning, probate, trust work, and related legal fields, helping individuals and families navigate these important matters with confidence and clarity.
I am proud to call Wichita my home, having attended Wichita Collegiate School before continuing my education as a Baker Duncan Scholar at Trinity University. I later earned my law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law, where I had the honor of serving as Managing Editor of the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy.
My legal career began at a leading regional firm, where I gained broad experience across many areas of law. Later, I worked at a national firm as a local specialist in their Tax, Trusts, and Estates department, further honing my expertise. Now, as the founder of Legacy Legal, LLC, my mission is to provide personalized, thoughtful legal solutions that protect my clientsâ legacies for generations to come.
Beyond my professional work, I am deeply committed to supporting my community and actively engage with:

Outside of the office, my greatest joy comes from my family. I am blessed to share life with my wonderful wife, Caitlin, and our two beautiful daughters.
