Angela Ghannam

Hello, I'm Angela Ghannam, a dedicated family law attorney licensed in the State of Michigan since 2009. I am a proud graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy, where I earned both my undergraduate degree and my Juris Doctor from its School of Law. In addition to my legal education, I have received specialized training in mediation and collaborative divorce through the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.

My commitment to excellence in family law has been recognized by Thompson Reuters, which selected me as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021—an honor awarded to less than 2.5% of attorneys in Michigan. Beyond my legal practice, I am passionate about serving my community. I have participated on the advisory board of a local women’s business council, served as the President of the local Bar Association from 2015 to 2016, and contributed to the Henry Ford Community College Paralegal Program advisory board. Additionally, I am an advocate for animal welfare, volunteering with the Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit (FAMD) and fostering animals in need.

When I’m not practicing law, you’ll find me biking—outdoors whenever possible or indoors when the weather doesn’t cooperate.
