About Amy Oakden
Hi! Iâm Amy Oakden, owner of Oakden Law. I became a Personal Family Lawyer because I wanted to be a true trusted advisor to my clients â someone you can rely on when you have questions. I donât just draft documents and send you on your way never to be heard from again. I am here to be your lawyer for life.
I help families and business owners build and protect their wealth. I am also experienced with planning strategies for blended families and unmarried couples. I am passionate about educating my community on the possibilities of what could happen with no plan â or the wrong plan – in place, and helping my clients determine what plan best suits their needs in order to keep their families out of court and out of conflict.
I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2003 with a Bachelorâs degree in English and went on to earn my law degree with honors in 2006 from Chapman University School of Law. I am admitted to practice law in California and Texas.
Most importantly, I am a wife and a mom to three amazing kids. When I am not advising clients and educating my community on the importance of estate planning, I enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, camping and spending time outdoors with my family and our two dogs, traveling, frequenting local restaurants and wineries, and entertaining friends and family with elaborate dinner parties.
